These terms apply to every order placed on hidden.md, the Hidden Moldova website run by DOTVOZ S.R.L., where we sell digital travel guidebooks (PDF). Please read the terms before you buy. We may change them; the version published on the day you order applies to that order.

1. General provisions

• hidden.md is owned and run by DOTVOZ S.R.L., a company registered in the Republic of Moldova (IDNO 1025600073952). Our full contact details are in section 7.
• By placing an order you accept these terms. The Buy form asks you to confirm this before it takes you to the payment page.
• These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Moldova, in particular Law no. 284/2004 on electronic commerce and Law no. 105/2003 on consumer protection.
• Tours and trips aren't paid for on hidden.md. Most tours are booked through GetYourGuide, under its terms. The other tours and all trips are booked by writing to us; the price, deposit and cancellation terms on their page apply, confirmed in writing when you book.

2. Personal data protection

• We process personal data in line with Law no. 133/2011 on personal data protection, lawfully and only for the purposes below.
• To place an order you give us only your email address. We use it to send your receipt and download link, and to answer you when you write to us.
• Card details are entered only on maib's secure payment page. We never see or store them.
• How we handle your data in detail is in our privacy policy.

3. Ordering and payment

1. Choose a guidebook, enter your email address, accept these terms and press Buy.
2. You're taken to the secure payment page of B.C. “MAIB” S.A., where you enter your card details and confirm the payment.
3. Once the payment goes through, you're back on hidden.md, which shows your order and the download link, and we email you a confirmation.

• We accept Visa and Mastercard cards, and any other method shown on maib's payment page.
• maib asks for the cardholder's name, card number, expiry date and CVV/CVC code. Payments are protected by 3-D Secure: your bank may ask you to confirm the payment, for example with a one-time code.
• Prices are shown and charged in US dollars (USD). The price shown is final: there is no delivery fee or other charge. If your card is in another currency, your bank converts the amount at its own rate and may charge its own fees.
• The confirmation email shows the order number, the merchant (DOTVOZ S.R.L., hidden.md), the guidebook and quantity, the amount and currency, and the payment date.

4. Delivery

• Guidebooks are PDF files. Nothing is shipped.
• Delivery is immediate: as soon as the payment is confirmed, the download link is on the confirmation page and on its way to your inbox, usually within a few minutes.
• The link works for up to 10 downloads. Save the PDF to your device to keep it.
• No email, or the link stopped working? Write to hello@hidden.md with your order number and we'll send you a new link.
• What you need: any phone, tablet or computer that opens PDF files, which every current browser and phone does. You need an internet connection only to download.

5. Refunds

• You can ask for a refund within 14 days of payment: write to hello@hidden.md with your order number.
• If you haven't downloaded the guidebook yet, we refund you in full, no questions asked.
• A downloaded PDF can't be returned, so we refund one only if the file is faulty, incomplete or not as described and we can't fix it.
• We answer refund requests within 5 working days. The full amount goes back to the card you paid with, in the original currency; depending on your bank, it can take a few more working days to show up.
• Once an order is refunded, its download link stops working.

6. Privacy policy

• Who is responsible: DOTVOZ S.R.L. decides how your personal data is used (contact details in section 7).
• What we collect: the email address you enter at checkout, and your order: order number, guidebook, amount, currency, payment date and number of downloads. Your IP address and browser type go to maib with the payment, for its fraud checks. We don't collect card details.
• What for: delivering your order, sending the receipt, answering your messages, handling refunds and keeping the accounting records the law requires. We send no newsletters or marketing email.
• Who else handles it, only to run your order: maib (B.C. “MAIB” S.A.) processes the payment; Twilio SendGrid sends our emails; Cloudflare hosts the website and forwards mail sent to hello@hidden.md to our Gmail inbox; Hetzner Online hosts our order server, in Germany; Amazon Web Services stores the guide files, in the United States, and serves your download, so it sees your IP address when you download; and Sentry collects that server's error reports, which can include your email and IP address if something fails while you order. We don't sell your data or share it with anyone else unless the law requires it, for example at the request of a court or a public authority.
• Cookies: the site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Its fonts load from Google Fonts.
• How long we keep it: order records for as long as Moldovan accounting law requires; anything else only as long as we need it to answer you.
• Your rights: you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it, by writing to hello@hidden.md.
• Security: the whole site is served over HTTPS, and you pay on maib's page, with 3-D Secure.
